Joshua WiesJoshua Wies

Joshua is originally from Baltimore, Maryland USA, and received his BSc in Psychology from University of Maryland, College Park and his Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from Boston University in 1993. He has worked in most clinical settings, and now specialises in treatment of musculoskeletal problems with a focus on the shoulder and the foot.

He is a member by invitation of the Royal Society of Medicine, the British Elbow and Shoulder Society and of the British Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society. He has conducted research on the shoulder and foot at Addenbrookes and lectured widely in America and the EU on these subjects as well as lecturing in Anatomy and Sports Psychology.

He sees a large number of sports injuries in his practice and is recommended by many of the university clubs. He has been recognised as a specialist physiotherapy provider by the Greater Cambridgeshire Athletics Network.

He has two additional areas of special interest - treatment of chronic pain conditions and treatment of dance-related injuries.

In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family and is interested in the arts, playing guitar and piano and gardening.

Joshua is registered with BUPA, AXA PPP and all other major insurance companies. He is available Monday to friday.
