Nicola Halliday

Nicola was born and grew up in South Africa and moved to the UK 14 years ago. On her arrival here she embarked on a career as a massage therapist, a career that has become her passion.

Nicola has always had a keen interest in sport and the associated musculoskeletal injuries and imbalances. To further her career she qualified as a soft tissue therapist in February 2015 with a BTEC level 5 diploma from the Cambridge School of Sports Massage. Nicola is a member of the Institute for Sport and Remedial Massage (ISRM) and The Federation of Holistic Therapists. This allows her to carry out a wide range of soft tissue techniques with the aid of a thorough assessment and consultation.  These techniques along with deep tissue massage can also be used to help and treat those with over use injuries, posture and tension related imbalances.

During her training Nicola gained valuable experience with a local village rugby team while living in West Yorkshire.

Nicola is available on Monday mornings at The Beechwood Practice, 41 Hills Road, Cambridge, CB2 1NT from 8:30am to 1pm and at her private practice in Ely.
