Yousif Barr


YousifYousif grew up in Cambridge and moved to London to study at Imperial College. After graduating  with a degree in Geology, Yousif worked in Finance in the City of London for 5 years. He then decided to pursue his ambition to be an Osteopath and undertook the 4 year degree course at the British School of Osteopathy. He graduated in 2007 and returned to Cambridge to develop his career in Osteopathy.

Since joining  the Beechwood Practice in 2012, Yousif  has been successfully treating a wide range of patients, helping them with a variety of muscle and joint problems. He has studied postgraduate courses in Cranial Osteopathy and recently completed the one year Diploma in Classical Osteopathy. This has given him a broader range of techniques and approaches to treatment.

Over the years Yousif  has played a range of sports, which have helped him to understand the needs of patients with sport related injuries.  His time in Finance has also given him an insight into work related strains. He enjoys being part of the team at the Beechwood Practice and believes that patients can benefit greatly from the access it provides to its therapists.
